Recent Projects

Feed The Homeless tour: June 2014 & August 2014

A Stairway To Hope and it's team set out with bagged lunches and go to all five boroughs and feed the homeless on the streets.  Our June tour was a huge success! At the end of the tour A Stairway To Hope fed over 150 homeless people throughout the five boroughs. During the next feed the homeless tour it is our hope to feed over 300 people.


Back To School Drive: September 2014

On September 13, 2014 A Stairway To Hope will be hosting it's 5th annual Back To School Drive for the Richard R. Green Campus in the Bronx., 



Clothing & Coat Drive; December 2014

On December 13, 2014 A Stairway To Hope will be hosting a Clothing & Coat Drive for the children and families in the Bronx. The location of the drive will be at 3710 Barnes Ave. During the drive we will be giving out lightly used clothing and coats. free haircuts, hairstyles,  food, prizes and more.

 

We have a simple mission: We are dedicated to assisting children & families in need in the Bronx, Brooklyn and Mt. Vernon communities. A Stairway To Hope is accredited to helping children and families with basic needs as small as haircuts & hairstyles to creating drives for other countries & Communities when natural disaster  strikes.  In 2010 A Stairway To Hope hosted a Help Heal Haiti Drive and collected medical supplies, can goods, food and water for Haiti.  In 2012, A Stairway To Hope hosted a drive for the Hurricane Sandy victims in the Rockaways.  Every Year we host various community drives that are designed to assist children and families in need.


History:

2009- First Clothing & Coat Drive

2010- Became a 501c nonprofit

2011- First back to school drive, community baby shower, Mother's Day luncheon and Father's Day Cookout

2014-Started our five borough feed the homeless tour

What We’re Doing
